If you could travel back in time and observe history, where would you go and what would you see?
Last night I found myself daydreaming as I relaxed in the backyard by the fire… There was a cool breeze and the stars shined bright… I pondered – if I could travel back in time and be an invisible, silent observer, where would I go and what would I see…
Here are just a few things that came to mind. More to follow in future posts.
• Ancient Rome – a day in the life in ancient Rome
• Egypt – building the pyramids in Egypt
• Ellis Island – a day in the life at Ellis Island in the early 1900s
• Berlin Wall – fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989
• Michelangelo – watch Michelangelo work on one of his magnificent sculptures
• My dogs romping around as puppies (Cain passed away nearly two years ago. Piper will be 14 next week!)
• New York City in the 1940s – a day in the life at my grandfather’s clothing factory in NYC
• United States Continental Congress
